June 1, 2011 marks our eleven year anniversary.
DESIGN FOR SCIENCE was the laboratory design consultant for the California Academy of Sciences located in San Francisco, California. The California Academy of Sciences (CAS) was awarded a L.E.E.D. Platinum certification by the U.S. Green Building Council, and is the largest L.E.E.D. Platinum building in the world. The CAS was named by TIME as one of The Great Buildings of the World 2010. The Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Genoa, Italy designed the new academy. Stantec Architecture in San Francisco is the executive architect. Arup is the MEP engineer for the project.
